Update: The problem seems to come from the WeMo switches and not from our side of the software. We're trying to find workarounds.

I'm guessing there would probably be some way to do this with IFTTT/Zapier or a similar service, but I haven't managed to do it, so it may need advanced configuration.

The problem is that IFTTT/Zapier requires the image URL to tweet. So maybe if you first create an action that takes a picture, find out a way to upload it to a server, get the URL, and add it as a variable to tweet... It could be possible, just sounds very complex.

If you can't find a way to do it out of the Flic app, we'll add the feature to the list of suggestions and contemplate it for future updates! Feel free to add it to ideas.flic.io so others can suggest/support your idea too.

Hi! Unfortunately, what you're describing isn't possible with Flic, at the moment. It requires access to iPhone settings that Apple doesn't allow access to. However, we're always working on making Flic better by following user's suggestions, so I'll forward your request to the development team.

Hi! You can try the following steps:

Delete the Bluetooth pairing in your phone settings (if any) Delete the button from Flic app Factory re-set the button: remove the battery, wait like 10 seconds, then insert the battery while pressing the button at the same time and hold it in for ~15s and release.

if the front of the Flic is facing you, twist it counter clockwise and it the back should open. It uses a CR2032 coin battery.

The only time I ever see a light on my Flic is when the battery is being replaced for a brief second, or when there is an error of some kind. You will see Red shine through the Flic logo. Other than that there is no light during normal operation of the button.

@steve I fail on the first step. There is no ”Providers” in the top right menu. The closest is ”Applications”, but it only contain nine (odd) applications, none of which is IFTTT. What am I doing wrong”.

In IFTTT, I can make a recipe with my flic as a trigger, but nothing happens whan i click i, except the ”next song” which I hav configured it to do in the flic app. I can’t find anything about IFTTT in the flic app. Why?

I work at a retail store where these are sold and I know that Samsung phones before Galaxy S7 have a bluetooth bug where known devices are unable to connect. The solution is to go into settings>Apps/programs>all and find the bluetooth android service. Force stop the bluetooth service and reboot the phone. This should fix the connectivity problem.

@p72b Hi! Yes, that's correct. Flic Single is meant as a simplified version of the normal Flic, with limited actions, but at a lower price. If you want to use our SDK you'll need any of the standard Flics in our shop https://flic.io/shop. I'm sorry if it wasn't clear! We'll try to make it clearer on the web now 🙂
