Extend the IR blaster cable?
-
I recently upgraded to the Flic hub LR and Flic 2’s, I had stopped using my old Flic hub for the most part because the range wasn’t far enough to reach the places I where wanted to control lights. I could have moved the hub, but I was using the IR blaster on my entertainment center and that cable is short. So I was using the Flic just for IR automation on the entertainment center.
I had hoped that the improved range of the LR Hub would be my solution, but I guess the signal increase wasn’t enough.
I did hook up the LR hub in central place and that works for lighting, but the IR blaster does not work from its new central location. It is an open loft though, so I was hoping I could run an extension cord for the IR blaster and place it closer to the entertainment center.
Is there a way to extend the length of the IR blaster cable? If it was a standard headphone jack it wouldn’t be a problem, but I don’t know what kind of Jack this is.
I could just operate the two independently ongoing, but then I wouldn’t be able to have a button to shut off the TV AND the lights when I leave, for example.
Thanks for reading and for any help!

@dfrey Confirmed...that cable from amazon works perfectly. It's 2.5mm four-pin Reverse Camera Extension Cable

Extending the IR cable is not something we have tried, but if you want to try it out, use a 2.5 mm cable.

I am going to try this cable: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07H2D2SND/

No reply on this, so I just ended up just using another solution for IR automation.
