      I recently bought a couple of the new flic twists. However one of them stopped working a few days ago.
      I tried to reconfigure it via the flic app, only to see it's marked as standby. I've google around but see no confirmation of what a flic twist being in standby actually means.
      I found a thread discussing this issue for the flic button but it seems like the same issue. However that doesn't seem to have gone anywhere, only containing multiple users trying to reach out of help.
      The only advice is not having too many bluetooth connections on the phone, but I don't use a phone for my flic twists, I have a hub so it's irrelevant.

      It'd be great to be able to use my flic twist, it was quite expensive and means I cannot control my light.

      The other flic twist is still working for now.

          @Emil That's a pity.
          Ok I managed to take it down and remove and re-insert the batteries and it seems to work now, thanks.
          May I suggest adding a gesture to restart it (such as long pressing for 20 secs) similar to a phone hard reboot.

          Fingers crossed this doesn't happen to often.

            @nascent Sorry, there is no other way to reboot the Twist.

              Hi @Emil , thanks for responding.
              The leds behave as if the button is working completely. The button press lights the led briefly and the twist movement shows the radial led animation, the same way as the working twist does.

              Edit: Changing the batteries will be a challenge as I've had to glue the flic twist up. Had hoped I wouldn't need to change or touch the batteries for a while. Any other abilities to 'restart' the twist without needing to disassemble it?

                Hi,

                Note that the Flic Twist is still a pretty young product compared to Flic Buttons which have been around for quite many years now.

                May I ask you how the LEDs behave when you turn around the Twist and when you press the button? Is it performing the "connecting" animation where it spins around in an animation or does it appear as the Twist is already connected (e.g. the LED positions are adjusted as you turn the Twist)?

                In any case, let me know if it works better if you unplug and replug the batteries. In that case there is some firmware bug somewhere we need to take a look at.
