I tried adding a flic button to my hub. I went through the process and turn HomeKit on.
When I go to home and try to add an action (with any HomeKit light etc), I get "could not change settings" and "Could not complete operation"

I reset the button - and tried again. unfortunately not working.

Any suggestions? (I dont want to reset the hub as I have many buttons)

@james-2 I had left my system alone for about 2 weeks. I was going to do the profile to allow logging. But but before doing that, I double checked the 2 buttons that had this problem. Now they work. I’ve done nothing to my environment in the meantime. So, when they work now is a mystery to me.

@Emil That is correct. I have not run HomeKit on it. It is my HomeKit Hub though

@kerry-thacher I sent you instructions on 5 feb how to enable logging for Apple TV as well, privately. That is what james-2 is referring to I assume. However, you responded that you have never run Homekit on your AppleTV.

@james-2 Thanks. Can you clarify what you mean by allowing logging? On what device? Apple TV? I don’t see that option on the hub.

@kerry-thacher this is what seemed to work for me.
I started a process of adding a new profile to allow logging, and when I restarted my Apple TV (that is what I use as my home hub) it seemed to stop the error and can now be configured!
Hope that works / help you as well

@james-2 One more thing. I reset my hub and it did not fix the problem.

@james-2 I have the same problem. 4 of my buttons work and 2 don’t. So they are useless and a waste of money. . If you find an answer please post what it is.
