Raspberry Pi 3 - Linux - Flic Integration

Hello,

I currently have a raspberry Pi 3 that i'm using for a project. I need to integrate the flic button so I can manipulate what actions are to be taken when the flic button is pressed.

What is the best way about doing so? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
