Not triggering Alexa routines

My situation is that the flic hub is not consistently triggering the Alexa routines. It works, albeit a bit delayed, when 1st powered up. And for an unknown period of time after. But, somewhere along the way it goes out to lunch and will no longer activate the routine. On it's own thru the Alexa app the routine is properly functioning.
The hub is in the same room, line of sight from the router and button. Both the button and hub lites respond to/display the click(s).
I've got 5 other buttons waiting for other tasks. I'd hate to believe this has been an expensive experiment. Any thoughts?
