      Hi.
Im all new to Flic, iffft and everything else around that. It may be a "dumb" question, but I have been searching for hours and I cant figure out how I get my Flic button to play a sound from ether my Android phone or windows computer.
All I want is that when the button is clicked a single time, it plays a sound I downloaded on my computer or phone.

I have the model: FLIC HUB(not the FLICK HUB LR).

Hope that someone can help me before I go insanse, thanks in advance.

Sounds simple, but these are actually hard cases for Flic. Using the hub is quite a limiting factor, as is executing commands on PC coming from cloud. Using the flic hub, you cannot achieve this without creating some external actions.

There are some utilities for Windows that have been designed for this. For example TRIGGERcmd has quite a simple setup with ready made IFTTT applet you could use, I think more advanced and requiring a bit more setup would be AssistantComputerControl; it might overall be a better solution if you have other smart home devices.

For the phone it's enough that you download and "always run" IFTTT app there.

@eirikaaltvedtf make sure the flic button is connected directly to the android device and not a flic hub. Then simply use the "Play a sound" action, located under media. There you can select a downloaded sound.
