@Joacim Any idea when Apple will once again make Siri/Screenshots available again? (You might want to notate your list to show they're temporarily disabled.)

RE: Home Automation
Short answer: no, no, no, yes.

Flic and August both work within IFTTT, but August's security concerns prevent you from being able to lock/unlock your door by using -any- internet access outside of their own. For your own safety, of course. (Yes, that was intended sarcasm, but I do see their point.) August and IFTTT merely talk to the point that August will tell IFTTT if your lock is locked or not (and by whom).

Neither flic nor IFTTT are connected to Ring.

Similar to August, IFTTT works with the Nest cam, but only to accept an input trigger (so the cam can tell IFTTT if there's new sound or motion detected). So you can't tell flic to tell IFTTT to turn the cam on.

At least ONE of your requests is a yes! IFTTT works with Lutron, so you CAN flick your flic to lower/raise a shade, turn a light on/off, or activate a scene you've set up.

Flic app (iOS): flic colors?
So, stupid user question here:
I've got 4 flics, all black, 2 working from my iPad, 2 from my iPhone. But in the flic app, they're all assigned seemingly arbitrary colors (black, grey, aqua, yellow), consistent between the two idevices but with no real-life similarity. Is there some logic to this, or some way I can alter those colors within the app?

RE: Counting with Flic in Google Sheets or Excel
This is definitely possible, but not quite the way you think.
I suggest using IFTTT so that every time the flic is pressed, it triggers some other app to do something. We're an Apple household, so a good choice would be to trigger adding an iOS reminder (with the date/time, perhaps) to a specific list. From there, any peek at the list will note the number of items on it.

RE: How many do you need?
I'm not sure how to answer your question. I've got 4 presently. I suggest starting with just one, then once you've gotten familiar with it, figure out where else you'd want one.

RE: iOS App
For anyone following the thread:
- A -real- flick does have the Siri action; the virtual doesn't.
- The Siri function just initiates Siri on the linked device; you then voice w/ Siri hands-free. So pop a flic on your fridge to tell Siri to add eggs to the grocery list (assuming your iPhone is nearby)!

RE: iOS App
I just downloaded the app and the NEW! actions aren't there. I am using it with a virtual flic until the real one arrives. So assuming that's the issue, how does the Siri action work? Does it simply set up Siri for a spoken command, or does the button give Siri a specific command?
