I have Xiaomi Redmi Note 14. I figured that the app was missing some permissions to do things when the screen is locked (don't remember what exactly). Once I manually gave the permissions, Find My Phone started working both when the app is in the background and when the phone is locked.

I think it's an issue that the app does not request the permissions by itself.

Another subsequent issue is that the app does not autostart on reboot. Find My Phone becomes useless when/once the phone reboots. Probably the app does not request the corresponding permission on Android 14?
